As you might figure, there is still some fall-out from J.R. Smith’s ill-timed three-point attempt back on Friday against the Houston Rockets.

Only a few moments ago, the New York Daily News Frank Isola posted this tweet saying that Mike Woodson believes that Beno Udrih shouldn’t have passed to J.R. Smith on the play:

  • So you blame the passer not the idiot that shot the ball with 17 seconds left?

  • Justin

The last few weeks i continued to stick with Mike Woodson, deferring the blame to James Dolan and players. However, after that boneheaded comment i can see why Atlanta got fed up with Mike as well.

  • Neither he or his bonehead project know what to say or when to say it.Just because he got a pass doesn’t mean he should shoot. That’s why he makes so many dumb decisions, his dumb coach has programed him to shoot if he gets the ball.Beno throwing the ball out could be classified as a bad decision, they happen but JR shooting the ball and not knowing the score in the final seconds of a game right after a timeout is dumb.
