This season has been pretty tough for fans of the Los Angeles Lakers and the one solace of the matter is the possibility that they might get a good lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft Lottery.

Last night, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz and worsened their lottery chances with the victory.

After the game, Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni was asked in a postgame interview regarding the team’s lottery chances based on the win and below is his response that was noted by Lakers Nations reporter Serena Winters:

As a quick note for Mike since we are “That NBA Lottery Pick”, the lottery format is a weighted format that gives teams with the worse the record, the best opportunity to get the first pick.

No D’Antoni shouldn’t concern himself, the Lakers would be nuts to draft ANY player based on what his sorry coaching ass needs.
